Do you hate sitting at a desk? Do you love a job where you can see the results of your hard work at the end of every day? At Caring Transitions of Ellicott City, we are looking for Transition Pros to join our frontline team. We help seniors and their families navigate the big moves in life by handling everything from packing and moving to running online auctions and clearing out homes.
🛠 Your Day-to-Day "Workout"

• The Packing Ninja: You’ll carefully wrap and pack memories (not just "stuff") to ensure they arrive safely at their new home.
• The Space Shifter: You’ll help move furniture and boxes, and set up new floor plans so our clients feel at home the moment they walk in.
• The Treasure Hunter: You’ll help identify, photograph, and organize items for our online estate sale auctions. You never know what cool vintage finds you’ll come across!
• The Clean Slate Expert: You’ll help with "decluttering" and cleanouts, ensuring a home is 100% ready for its next chapter.

• High Energy: You like staying active. This is a physical job—think of it as a gym membership that pays you.
• A Heart for People: You’re patient and kind. Our clients are often going through a tough time, and your smile makes a difference.
• A Team Player: You show up on time, work hard, and enjoy a bit of camaraderie with the crew.
• Reliable: You have a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation to get to job sites around Howard and Anne Arundel County.

• Comfortable taking clear, high-quality photos of items for online auctions and estate sales.
• Experience creating listings on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, Etsy, CTBids, or other online selling platforms is a plus.
• Familiarity with antiques, collectibles, vintage items, jewelry, artwork, or resale marketplaces is a bonus.
• Strong attention to detail when researching, describing, and organizing items for sale.

• Starting salary between $19 - $22.50 based on experience
• Potential 15-20 hours per week guaranteed after 90 days trial period

• Must be able to properly lift more than 40 pounds
• Must have a valid drivers license and reliable source of transportation
• Must be able to stand and work for long periods of time
• Have a smart phone for scheduling, time-keeping & project management apps, and for directions and texting/calls
