Caregiver / Personal Care Assistant (PCA)
Pay Rate: Started on $17.00 – $18.00 per hour

Shifts: Days, Evenings, Overnights, Weekends & Live-In/24-Hour
Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who enjoys making a difference in the lives of seniors and individuals in need of care? We are looking for dedicated Caregivers / Personal Care Assistants (PCA) to join our team and provide quality, compassionate support to our clients throughout Hartford County.
What You’ll Do
- Provide compassionate personal care and daily living assistance.
- Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility as needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Assist with light housekeeping and other household tasks.
- Support clients with their daily routines while promoting independence and dignity.
- Communicate professionally with clients, families, and members of the care team.
- Follow care plans and report changes in a client's condition when appropriate.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for clients.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of caregiving experience.
- CNA or PCA certification preferred.
- Previous home care or senior care experience.
- Experience caring for clients with Dementia and Alzheimer’s disease.
- Experience using a Hoyer Lift and gait belt is a plus.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, organized, and dependable.
- Compassionate and professional.
- Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to provide respectful, patient-centered care.
- Commitment to maintaining client privacy, dignity, and safety.
