Role Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Health Aide for a full-time, on-site position located in Oxon Hill, MD. The Home Health Aide will assist clients with daily living activities, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing, as well as monitor and record patient health conditions. Additional responsibilities include preparing meals, assisting with mobility, providing companionship, and ensuring a safe and clean living environment for clients. The role may also involve following care plans and communicating updates to family members or healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in assisting patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and meal preparation
- Basic knowledge of healthcare protocols and the ability to monitor and report changes in patient health
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to offer emotional support and companionship
- Time management skills and the ability to maintain a clean and safe environment
- Valid Home Health Aide certification and prior experience in a caregiving role preferred
- Physical ability to support patients in mobility and perform light household tasks
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus
- Empathy, reliability, and a genuine dedication to improving clients' quality of life
