- Communicate with hospitals/referral sources regarding acceptance or denial status.
- Create and manage admission charts, required information and document within the appropriate time frame.
- Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
- Maintain daily communication with the Central Intake team
- Complete sign-in with r all new admissions
- Provide outstanding customer service and family
- Communicate with Central Intake regarding bed management
- Support external marketing and relationship-building efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, healthcare administration, or a related field preferred.
- Knowledge of long-term care operational standards and regulations
- Strong ability to make independent decisions and demonstrate leadership skills
- Excellent customer service and communication abilities
- Commitment to delving the highest quality of care in the most personalized way
- Must project a positive attitude and promote the facility and its staff/residents in a positive manner
- Capability to follow written and verbal instructions and work both independently and collaboratively
- Ability to remain calm and effectively manage stress in a healthcare setting
