Caring Personal Touch a small and local personal assistance home care agency, are currently rostering & hiring compassionate and dependable individuals to work with seniors and assist with providing essential care and support to participants in their homes.
Direct Care Worker Responsibilities Include :
- Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with Instrumental activities of daily living such as light housekeeping, light laundry, medication reminders, shopping and errands
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions
- Observe and report any changes in the patient's condition to the staffing supervisors.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients
- Assist with incontinent care
- Ability to follow the confidentiality of HIPAA and the agency's policies and procedures
- Report any changes observed regarding participants conditions to agency supervisor
- Qualifications for employment meet the following:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Physical Exam within one year.
- 2 Step-TB Test or equivalent.
- FBI Fingerprint
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Must have reliable transportation
