What are the responsibilities and job description for the WEEKEND CAREGIVER SCRANTON - DICKSON CITY position at Caring Life Services?
Caring Life Services is seeking an attentive and trustworthy caregiver to join our team at in providing excellent care to our clients.
The caregiver will follow a daily care schedule with clients, report on any new conditions or needs that may arise. Assist with all ADL's and IADL's.
To succeed as a caregiver you should be patient, empathetic, and have strong people skills. You should be observant and committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.
Hours are:
Clients are in need of help with in Scranton are as follows:
Female with daily shifts of 7am to 11am and then again 5pm to 9pm. Prefers female assistance due to being blind and bathroom assistance.
Female client who has daily shifts of noon to midnight. Assistance with diabetic meals, grocery shopping, appointments, light cleaning, Laundry etc...
Male client who needs 3-4 days a week of a 10am to 4pm. Bed bound but can move hands and can assist. Has a cat and needs light cleaning, meal prep and companionship.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with Mobility
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Provide companionship
- Assist with toileting
- Assist with all ADL's
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED
- PA Valid Driver’s License/PA ID – No out of state ID’s
- Be able to pass a criminal background check
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
- TB test prior to working with clients
- Must be at least 21 years or older
