Snyder County - Caring Life Services

Caring Life Services is seeking an attentive and trustworthy caregiver to join our team at in providing excellent care to our clients. 
The caregiver will follow a daily care schedule with clients, report on any new conditions or needs that may arise. Assist with all ADL's and IADL's.
To succeed as a caregiver you should be patient, empathetic, and have strong people skills. You should be observant and committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable.

Hours are:
Female in Middleburg who needs Reliable and hands on care - Her preferred schedule is Thursday to Sunday, 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm.
Has Huntington's - Full care. She is in a wheelchair and uses a gait belt to get up to use the bathroom and get into bed, she can pivot.
Meal prep/clean up after dinner - laundry if she has any
She goes to bed 6:30 pm and 7:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with Mobility
• Prepare meals and snacks
• Light housekeeping
• Medication reminders
• Provide companionship
• Assist with toileting 
• Assist with all ADL's 

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• PA Valid Driver’s License/PA ID – No out of state ID’s
• Be able to pass a criminal background check
• Effective written and verbal communication
• Ability to adhere to all health and safety guidelines
• TB test prior to working with clients
• Must be at least 21 years or older
