The position requires a reliable vehicle and travel to patients in facilities in Philadelphia and surrounding counties.Responsibilities: - Provide compassionate care and assistance to hospice patients in their homes or care facilities - Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and grooming - Assist with physical examinations under the direction of healthcare professionals - Support patients with mobility needs, including lifting and transferring - Maintain a clean and safe environment for patientsQualifications: - Certification as a Hospice Aide or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Proficiency in medical terminology and understanding of medical office procedures - Experience in providing care for patients in various settings- Ability to accurately measure and record vital signs - Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and their families - Knowledge of infection control procedures and safety protocols - Physical ability to lift and move patients safelyJob Type: Full-timePay: $21.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekPhysical Setting:· Long term care· Nursing home· Assisted living· Personal Care· Residential Home
