Responsibilities
- Engage with individuals experiencing behavioral health or addiction challenges, offering peer-led support rooted in shared lived experience.
- Provide crisis intervention and crisis management to de-escalate situations and ensure safety for clients and staff.
- Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients toward positive behavioral change and recovery goals.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to develop personalized recovery plans, ensuring client needs are met holistically.
- Document interactions, progress notes, and service activities accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Mentor clients through skill-building activities that promote independence, self-advocacy, and resilience.
- Assist clients in navigating behavioral health services, community resources, and support networks.
