This is a physically demanding position that requires unloading donations and lifting boxes throughout the shift. Applicants must be able to safely perform these essential job functions. Mrs. Rita has moved to FULL TIME Pantry Coordinator so this leaves us with an opening for another part time employee.
All final candidates will be subject to background checks and drug screening, consistent with applicable laws, as part of our commitment to maintaining a safe environment for the teens and seniors we serve.

Position Overview
We are hiring a Part-Time Associate to join our team. This role includes customer service, operating the register, sorting and tagging donations, unloading items, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and respectful customer service
- Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
- Sort, tag, and prepare donated items for resale
- Unload donations, including furniture and boxed items
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the store
- Assist with pricing, stocking, and merchandising
- Support the mission through positive customer interactions
Qualifications
- Dependable and team-oriented
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to stand for extended periods
- Able to regularly lift and move up to 30 lbs
- Retail or thrift experience is a plus, but not required
Pay & Schedule
- Starting pay: Discussed at interview
- Part-time hours (20 to 30) with flexible scheduling
- Saturdays required
- Closed on Sundays
