Key Responsibilities
- Greeting and checking in patients with professionalism and warmth
- Managing phone calls, scheduling, and appointment coordination
- Verifying insurance (NaviNet, UPMC, CCBH, other)
- Collecting copays and managing daily reconciliation
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Supporting providers and clinical staff with administrative needs
- Ensuring efficient patient flow throughout the day
- Handling sensitive information with confidentiality and accuracy
Qualifications
- Knowledge of insurance verification (required)
- 2 years of medical front office or related healthcare experience (preferred)
- Strong time‑management and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications and EMR systems
- Excellent communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
- Reliable transportation
