What are the responsibilities and job description for the Site Supervisor - Supported Community Living position at CARING HANDS & MORE LLC?
As the Site Supervisor you will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of your assigned program. This position will directly lead a team of Direct Support Professionals to assist individuals with disabilities in a supportive community living environment. Specific duties include:
Team Support
- Support and coach team members through job shadowing, training, and modeling desired outcomes.
- Provide constructive feedback through regular site meetings and staff evaluations.
- Schedule staff to ensure the individuals we serve have the support required for safety and success.
- Meet with staff to address any house concerns, scheduling or other barriers in achieving goals.
- Serve as the lead role in medication management for your site.
- Interface with the team member and individuals we serve on a regular basis.
- Listen and appropriately respond to the concerns of both team members and individuals we serve.
Operations
- Actively participate in strategic planning with the Program Manager to provide for the needs of all the individuals in the house.
- Take the lead in setting appointments and transportation for the individuals we serve.
- Monitor safety support systems and take appropriate actions as needed.
- Oversee the inspection, oversight, verification and in some instances, completion of site-specific cleaning and upkeep.
- Maintain professional boundaries at all times.
- Ensure that the completion required shift documentation is accurate and entered in a timely manner.

You need to be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or GED to qualify. An advanced degree in social work, human services or a related field is preferred. Prior experience in a related field and/or supervisory role is also preferred. Additional requirements include:
- A passion to support others, respect for individual differences, and the ability to advocate for the best plan of action for the individuals we serve are the most important requirements of this position.
- Sound judgement and good decision-making skills are extremely important.
- A willingness to learn new skills and new ways to deliver services to the individuals we serve is crucial to personal and professional growth.
- Must have a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Salary : $35,000 - $40,000
