Position Overview

Caring Hands In-Home Care is seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to provide one-on-one nursing services for a client in Van Buren, Missouri.

This is a weekend opportunity caring for a client with paraplegia who requires skilled nursing interventions, personal care assistance, and support with daily activities in the home and community setting.

Client Care Needs

The nurse will provide skilled and supportive care, including:

Scheduled urinary catheterization
Assessment and monitoring of overall health status
Assistance with mobility and transfers
Personal care and hygiene assistance
Skin integrity monitoring and pressure injury prevention
Medication administration as ordered
Support with community activities and social engagement
Documentation of nursing interventions and client status
Communication with caregivers, physicians, and agency staff

Qualifications

Active Missouri LPN or RN license
Current CPR certification
Ability to work independently in a home setting
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Reliable transportation
Experience with catheterization and mobility assistance preferred

Schedule
