📌 Position Details
- Role: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN)
- Setting: Pediatric Private Duty Nursing (in the client’s home)
- Location: Sikeston, Missouri
- Schedule: Full-time nights — Sunday through Thursday
- Shift Type: Night shift (exact hours to be discussed during interview)
💛 About the Client
You will be providing direct, skilled care for a pediatric client with chronic medical needs who relies on consistent nighttime monitoring and supportive care. This is a stable, long-term case with a supportive family and a collaborative care team.
🩺 Responsibilities - Provide overnight monitoring and skilled nursing care tailored to the child’s medical needs
- Perform gastrostomy tube care, medication administration, and treatments as ordered
- Monitor respiratory status (trach/vent, oxygen, suctioning — if applicable)
- Document nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
- Maintain a safe, calm, and comforting nighttime environment
- Communicate effectively with the family, care team, and agency
- Participate in ongoing training and follow the established plan of care
✔️ Qualifications - Active Missouri LPN or RN license (in good standing)
- Pediatric or home-health experience preferred — but we provide training for the right fit
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to work independently and deliver compassionate, patient-centered care
- Reliability and consistency — especially important for nighttime private duty
