KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supervision and Support
- Provide direct supervision and ongoing support to assigned PSS staff working in the field.
- Conduct regular field visits to observe PSS performance, provide coaching, and ensure quality of care.
- Facilitate regular check-ins, team meetings, and one-on-one supervision sessions with staff.
- Address performance concerns promptly and document appropriately in collaboration with management.
TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT
- Participate in orientation process for new PSS employees.
- Provide ongoing in-service training, mentoring, and skill development.
QUALITY ASSURANCE
- Monitor service delivery to ensure compliance with individualized care plans, agency standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct home visits to evaluate service effectiveness and client satisfaction.
- Document and report findings, follow-up actions, and recommendations.
- Assist with incident investigations and corrective action plans as needed.
CLIENT RELATIONS
- Support the scheduling team by addressing staffing challenges and assisting with coverage when needed.
- Participate in care plan reviews and communicate changes to field staff.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of supervision visits, employee communications, and performance evaluations.
- Track and report staff compliance with agency policies, training requirements, and visit documentation.
- Collaborative with management to ensure efficient service delivery and staff utilization.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
- Field-based position with frequent travel to client homes and staff locations.
- May include occasional evening or weekend hours for staff supervisions or emergencies.
- Requires physical ability to visit client environments and perform occasional demonstrations of care techniques.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in home care, health care, or human services; supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of personal care services, home care regulations, and client rights.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and travel within assigned service area.
- Current driver's license, reliable vehicle, and proof of insurance required.
