Role Description
The Preschool Assistant Teacher (Part-Time Afternoons) supports our team in creating a safe, engaging classroom environment for preschool-aged children, primarily aged 4 to 5 years. This part-time, on-site role in Oreland, PA includes assisting with daily routines, classroom setup, and clean-up, as well as guiding children through learning activities and play.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom activities and supervision of preschool children aged primarily 4 to 5 years
- Help maintain a safe, clean, welcoming classroom environment
- Ensure positive interactions with children, families, and fellow staff
Qualifications
- 2 years work experience working with young children
- 600 or more hours experience in early childhood education
- High school diploma or a general educational development certificate
- Friendly, dependable, and patient personality
- Ability to pass required background checks/clearances
- Health screening
