Role: The Vascular Sonographer performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound imaging to assess blood vessels and related conditions.
Responsibilities: Operate ultrasound equipment, produce accurate diagnostic images, and collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Qualifications: Graduate of a Sonography program or on-the-job training with registered preceptor; certification such as ARDMS, CCI, or ARRT (registry within 6 months); BLS certification; licensure may be required by state.
Skills & Abilities: Proficiency in producing diagnostic images, understanding machine operation and safety protocols, meticulous attention to detail, strong communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks like reaching, bending, and kneeling.
