- Conducting therapy evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions.
- Providing patient and caregiver education, discharge planning, and managing a full caseload.
- Handling documentation, billing, scheduling, and administrative duties.
- Supervising support staff such as licensed assistants and aides, and demonstrating professionalism and effective communication.
- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team and coordinating with referring physicians to ensure cohesive patient care.
- Complying with organizational policies, ethical standards, and scope of practice.
- Potentially serving as a clinical instructor or participating in departmental committees.
- Current license in the practicing state.
- Education from an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate).
- Strong communication, professionalism, and teamwork abilities.
