Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team in Madison, AL. The LPN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients, assist with treatment plans, and support the healthcare team in delivering excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and physicians.
• Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and injections as prescribed by physicians.
• Assist with patient hygiene, mobility, and daily living activities.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain medical records.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Alabama.
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care.

Work Environment

This position is based in Madison, AL, and involves working in a clinical setting. The role may require standing for extended periods, lifting or moving patients, and working various shifts including weekends and holidays.
