Duties
- Oversee daily nursing operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to care plans
- Assign and supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to maintain high-quality patient care
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
- Administer medications
- Manage emergency situations
- Coordinate interdisciplinary communication for discharge planning, case management, and family education
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, long-term care regulations, and infection control policies
Experience
- Extensive background working with diverse patient populations including geriatrics individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia care, Alzheimer’s care, and memory care
- Proficiency in electronic health records
- Strong knowledge in medical terminology, physiology principles, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills
