Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in commercial driving and automotive repair, demonstrating excellent mechanical knowledge and customer service skills. As a Tow Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting vehicles and providing roadside assistance to customers in need.
Responsibilities
- Operate Heavy Duty tow trucks, to transport disabled vehicles.
- Respond promptly to service calls and provide efficient roadside assistance.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of towing equipment to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Communicate effectively with customers to assess their needs and provide exceptional customer service.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to coordinate timely responses to calls for service.
- Perform basic mechanical repairs as needed on vehicles being towed or serviced.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed.
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform tasks in various weather conditions.
