Carhart Lumber in Wayne is looking for a Full-Time Hardware Sales Associate to join our team!
We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in great customer service, and wants to build a career with a local, established company.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Help customers find the right products for their projects
- Answer product questions and assist with sales
- Mix paint and assist with hardware and building materials
- Build relationships with homeowners and contractors
- Help manage inventory, ordering and stock
- Learn our products and stay up to date on new inventory
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Someone who is self motivated
- A dependable, team-first attitude
- Building materials or hardware experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn — we’ll train the right person!
