Summary:
The Yard Team Member / Material Handler at CargoLoop, LLC supports daily logistics and yard operations by safely moving, organizing, and preparing freight, containers, and materials. This role is critical to maintaining efficiency, safety, and accuracy across all inbound and outbound activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and reposition containers, pallets, or freight using forklifts, pallet jacks, or yard equipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse area.
- Operate company equipment safely and report any maintenance or safety issues immediately.
- Monitor and record equipment inspections and daily operational checks.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors to ensure smooth coordination of yard activities.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year experience in warehouse, yard, or intermodal operations preferred.
- Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is required.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork.
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs and work in outdoor conditions year-round.
Work Environment:
- Outdoor/yard and warehouse setting.
- Exposure to weather conditions and operational equipment noise.
- Requires PPE and adherence to all safety protocols.
