Export Operations Agent

Position Summary
Cargo Services – an OIA Global Company - is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Export Operations Agent to support daily export operations for a key client account. This role is responsible for managing export documentation, coordinating with customers and carriers, ensuring compliance with shipping requirements, and supporting the overall efficiency of the export operations team.
The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced logistics environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide operational support for assigned export accounts and clients.
- Process and manage export documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients, customers, carriers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and documentation requirements.
- Prepare and submit AES filings in compliance with U.S. export regulations.
- Prepare Bills of Lading (B/L) instructions and coordinate final shipping documents.
- Gather, review, and distribute export documentation to all required parties.
- Assist with shipment billing and invoicing processes.
- Maintain accurate electronic and physical filing systems.
- Support the export team with general operational and administrative tasks.
- Ensure all work activities are performed in alignment with Cargo Services company standards and customer service expectations.
- Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.
