Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
- Operate the cash register and handle customer transactions accurately using the POS system.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining areas.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring adherence to food safety standards and proper handling techniques.
- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, providing recommendations and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Monitor inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and food items; assist with restocking as needed.
- Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or café settings is preferred but not required.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately.
- Familiarity with coffee preparation techniques and equipment is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn about various coffee types and brewing methods.
