- Ensure safe work procedures are followed by all employees in the department
- Ensure you are wearing proper personal protective equipment
- Be sure you are following proper lifting procedures
- Employees must work and act safely at all times and must accept equal responsibility for their personal safety and that of their co-workers
- Must be able to operate a high reach truck/stand up forklift
- Must be able to operate an electric pallet jack
- Ensuring timely and efficient throughput of products
- Ensure that all standard operating procedures are being met
- Reporting any deficiencies in selecting processes and suggesting new alternatives/methods to improve these processes
- Ensure that all food safety procedures and practices are being followed

- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Previous experience on a high reach truck
- Prior work history in a fast-paced production environment
- Prior experience leading diverse teams in the meat industry or warehouse environment
