- Collaborate with Operations on the initiation of corrective action and preventative measures when necessary
- Ensures adherence to Corporate, Regulatory and facility food safety and quality requirements
- Stakeholder Development and Supervision
- In the absence of the supervisor oversees the hourly material handlers on shift and ensures quality production is being achieved
- Other projects
- Assisting the plant in various projects relating to Safety, Food Safety, Regulatory, Environment, Process Improvement, Engagement, Training, etc
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Degree in Microbiology, Food Science, Biology, or other related field
- 5 Years previous food safety, quality, or food manufacturing experience
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the past 12 months
- Bi-lingual (English, Spanish)
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- General knowledge of HACCP
- Demonstrated ability to effectively manage conflict
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
