Principal Accountabilities
- Work with operations group on production schedules
- Daily tooling setup for production needs
- Inspection of Grinder pins, bushing and plates, replace as needed
- Operate 80 ton hydraulic press
- Stone Mold plates and Breather plates daily
- Straighten Mold plates on a hydraulic press
- Bow breather plates on a hydraulic press
- Operate plate grinder to sharpen grind plate
- Assess condition of tooling for wear and damage
- Order tooling or send out for repairs as needed
- Maintain tooling inventory levels
- Utilize MRO system
- Cleanliness and housekeeping
- Ensuring food safety and quality
- Work with minimal supervision
- Work Overtime as needed
- Documenting daily work assigned on paper and in maintenance management system
- Utilize parts in inventory to repair equipment and follow procedures for documenting usage
- Identify problems and make suggestions to improve operational processes
- Operate PIT (Powered Industrial Truck)
Required Qualifications
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must have knowledge of hand and power tools
- Have state issued operator driver’s license
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous industrial maintenance experience
- Two year degree that relates to the maintenance field
- Experience using a powered industrial truck (PIT)
- Previous Cargill experience
- Work history in the last 12 months
