Cargas is hiring a Systems Consultant to support our Acumatica partnership. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of customers in the manufacturing and construction industries to design, implement, and support Acumatica ERP solutions. You’ll apply your industry expertise to analyze customer business processes, perform product demonstrations, and deliver successful system implementations that drive business value.

Cargas is hiring a Systems Consultant to support our Acumatica partnership. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of customers in the manufacturing and construction industries to design, implement, and support Acumatica ERP solutions. You’ll apply your industry expertise to analyze customer business processes, perform product demonstrations, and deliver successful system implementations that drive business value.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and/or support the implementation of Acumatica solutions for customers
- Analyze customer business processes, pain points, and goals to design tailored, solution-oriented product demos
- Translate business requirements into clear, compelling solution presentations
- Respond to customer care requests with timely, effective solutions
- Work both independently and collaboratively within project teams
- Meet or exceed individual performance goals, including billable hours and broader team goals
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Experience in construction or manufacturing industries
- Strong understanding of accounting fundamentals (e.g., job costing, WIP, billing, budgeting, GL/AP/AR interactions)
- Ability to develop deep expertise in business software sold or re-sold by Cargas, including Acumatica and related products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of business processes, systems, and strategic thinking
- Direct experience in construction or manufacturing environments with a focus on operations, finance, systems, or project-based workflows
- Experience implementing or supporting ERP or project-based systems within construction or manufacturing organizations (e.g., Dynamics 365, Sage, Acumatica, Viewpoint, Epicor, Infor, NetSuite)
- Experience with project accounting in a project-driven or job-costing environment
- Experience with accounting or financial reporting processes and applications
- Strong business consulting skills, including business process analysis, systems evaluation, and applying technology to support operational improvements
- Experience delivering end-user training
- Project management experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve software functionality issues
