Carex is partnering with a BioTech industry leader to hire a Senior Scrum Master who will lead Agile practices across complex, cross-functional teams. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, fostering continuous improvement, and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technical execution. The Senior Scrum Master will serve as a coach, facilitator, and servant leader, helping teams maximize value delivery while maintaining a strong Agile mindset.

What You'll Do

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives
• Coach teams on Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices to improve efficiency and effectiveness
• Identify and remove impediments that hinder team progress and delivery timelines
• Partner with product owners to ensure well-defined backlogs, clear priorities, and aligned sprint goals
• Track and communicate key Agile metrics such as velocity, sprint progress, and delivery forecasts
• Support scaling Agile practices across multiple teams or programs as needed
• Foster a culture of accountability, transparency, and continuous improvement
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
• Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to Agile maturity across the organization
  
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field
• 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment, preferably supporting complex or enterprise-level initiatives
• Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
• Experience using Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict resolution skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, or equivalent) preferred
• Experience in regulated or highly structured environments is a plus
