Carex is partnering with a manufacturing/packaging industry partner to hire a Cybersecurity Specialist for an in-person role based in Green Bay, Wisconsin.

In this role, you'll help shape enterprise-wide security architecture, assess risk, respond to cybersecurity incidents, and stay at the forefront of emerging technologies. What You’ll Do

• Participate in the creation and refinement of enterprise cybersecurity architecture and standards
• Conduct cybersecurity baseline assessments and enterprise risk assessments
• Offer expert consultation on cybersecurity best practices
• Investigate real or suspected cybersecurity threats and maintain the risk register
• Perform forensic investigations and support incident response efforts
• Guide cybersecurity awareness campaigns and develop associated training materials
• Conduct ongoing compliance assessments and manage intrusion prevention systems
• Configure antivirus and malware protocols; analyze ATD alerts and refine detection rules
• Define VPN and remote access guidelines; maintain web content filter rule sets
• Lead vulnerability scanning and penetration testing efforts; develop mitigation strategies
• Provide technical advice and training to internal teams
• Remain informed on evolving network security technologies, methods, and standards
  
  
  

What You’ll Bring

• 3–5 years of experience in a large enterprise system
• Deep knowledge of security architecture, standards, and technologies (e.g., antivirus, IPS, firewalls)
• Familiarity with email, web, and cloud security; identity and access management
• Experience with encryption, PKI, tokenization, and industrial control systems security
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, and threat modeling
• Understanding of mobile security, PCI compliance, and micro segmentation
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
