What You’ll Do
- Align operational strategies with long-term business goals and near-term objectives.
- Promote and ensure high standards in safety, industrial hygiene, and environmental compliance.
- Set, track, and deliver on key performance indicators across all operational areas.
- Lead strategic planning initiatives to expand production capacity and global supply chains.
- Foster a culture rooted in Lean Sigma, employee engagement, and continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer contacts.
- Develop and mentor operations, supply chain, and project management talent.
- Assess and manage relationships with toll manufacturers and supply chain partners.
- Maintain and improve business continuity plans for all manufacturing sites.
- Drive collaboration across Research, Finance, Market Development, HR, and Operations.
- Represent operations in regular business unit and division-level reviews.
- Lead capital planning, project execution, and budget management.
- Oversee direct reports with a focus on performance management, career development, and engagement.
- Champion Responsible Care initiatives, minimizing waste and conserving energy while promoting safety and sustainability.
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering.
- Minimum of 8 years’ progressive leadership experience in chemical manufacturing.
- Formal training and practical experience in Six Sigma, Lean, or similar methodologies.
- Previous multi-site and global leadership experience
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and achieve operational excellence.
- Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Customer-centric mindset with a focus on delivering high-impact solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to set high standards, drive results, and develop others.
- Highly analytical, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
- An advanced degree is preferred.
