Job Overview:
- Contribute to the design, development and support of CareView software systems.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- As a member of the development team you will have the opportunity to patriciate in product development and the full SDLC process.
- Developers work closely with the Quality Assurance team.
- Developers work closely with the Product development team.
- Developers work closely with Support and Technical Operations teams.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
- 5 years of experience working directly with customers and third-party vendors on integration projects.
- Should be able to lead meetings and be an excellent communicator.
- Experienced wri.ng production ready, testable code in Node JS.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with common development tools and frameworks.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to document code and development processes.
- Demonstrable experience with authentication/authorization patterns.
- Experience with PostgreSQL
- Experience working with Express JS.
- Demonstrable experience learning and utilizing third-party API’s and frameworks.
Preferred (not required) experience:
- Previous knowledge or exposure to healthcare EHR/EMR systems.
Education:
- A bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field like information technology
Work Environment:
- Must pass a criminal background check and drug test
- Must pass HIPAA compliance test
- Must be authorized to work in the United States
- Working Hours: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand
