We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant to join our team in Schaumburg, IL. The ideal candidate will have experience in providing high-quality care to animals and supporting veterinarians in clinical and surgical procedures. Responsibilities

• Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and behavior.
• Prepare and maintain surgical and examination areas.
• Provide compassionate care and support to animals and their owners.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist with client education and communication regarding pet care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant preferred.
• Knowledge of animal anatomy, physiology, and common medical procedures.
• Ability to handle animals safely and compassionately.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Certification or training in veterinary technology is a plus.
