Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative

We’re seeking a friendly, professional, detail-oriented Veterinary Receptionist / Client Service Representative with prior veterinary hospital experience to join our team.
As the first point of contact for our clients, you’ll play an essential role in creating a positive experience for pets and their people. The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, comfortable with technology, organized, and able to thrive in a busy veterinary practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome clients and their pets with warmth and professionalism.
- Answer phone calls and manage appointment scheduling, email, and text communications.
- Check clients in and out, prepare invoices, and process payments.
- Maintain accurate client and patient records.
- Communicate veterinary recommendations and discharge instructions clearly and accurately.
- Answer questions about clinic services, policies, products, and general pet care.
- Support the veterinary team with administrative tasks as needed.
- Keep the reception and waiting areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- Previous veterinary hospital or veterinary reception experience required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new software efficiently.
- Typing speed of at least 60 words per minute; 60–70 WPM preferred.
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and basic preventive care.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude, dependable work ethic, and commitment to teamwork.
- A genuine love of animals and an understanding of the importance of compassionate client care.
