Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments, and surgical procedures
- Provide nursing care to hospitalized patients, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications
- Perform laboratory tests, radiology, and other diagnostic procedures as needed
- Utilize Fear Free techniques to minimize stress and anxiety in patients
- Maintain accurate medical records and client communications using Ezy Vet software
- Educate clients on pet health, wellness, and post-treatment care
- Ensure compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols within the hospital

Skills:
- Perform dental cleanings, charting teeth abnormalities
- Anesthesia induction and monitoring
- Surgical preparation
- intravenous catheter placement
- Vaccination administration
- Venipuncture
- In-house lab IDEXX
- Filling prescriptions
- Our new Team Member must work well with others as well as independently, take initiative and thrive in a busy work environment
Licensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Ohio is required.
