Registered Veterinary Technician / Veterinary Assistant

Location: South Bend, IN

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Veterinary Technician or Veterinary Assistant to join our team in South Bend, IN. This is a part-time position with the possibility of transitioning to full-time based on performance and clinic needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality patient care including assisting with examinations, treatments, and procedures.
• Support veterinarians during surgeries and medical procedures.
• Monitor patient vital signs and administer medications as directed.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
• Assist with client communication, education, and support to ensure excellent client care.
• Prepare and maintain treatment areas, equipment, and supplies.
• Perform routine laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures.
• Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation protocols.
  
  
  

Qualifications:

• Current certification as a Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) or experience as a Veterinary Assistant.
• Strong knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and patient care procedures.
• Excellent client service and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Part-time with potential to move to full-time based on clinic needs and candidate performance.
