Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Attendant to join our team in Walnutport, PA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the daily care and maintenance of animals in our kennel facility, ensuring a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all pets.

Responsibilities

• Feed, water, and provide general care for animals housed in the kennel.
• Clean and sanitize kennels, cages, and common areas regularly.
• Monitor the health and behavior of animals and report any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
• Assist with the intake and release of animals, ensuring proper documentation and procedures are followed.
• Maintain accurate records of animal care and kennel maintenance activities.
• Provide a safe and welcoming environment for pets and their owners.

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience as a kennel attendant or in a similar role preferred.
• Strong animal handling skills and a genuine love for animals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and attention to detail.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, cleaning, and standing for extended periods.
