What are the responsibilities and job description for the Painter position at CareSouth Carolina?
The painter, under general supervision, performs routine painting work on the interior and exterior of CSC properties. Conducts inspections of painted structures and makes recommendations for corrective action and follow-up maintenance. The duties of the position include:
- Inspects the interior/exterior of buildings to determine painting/varnishing needs, as directed.
- Prep surfaces, to include minor repairs, to prepare for painting/varnishing.
- Use necessary tools and procedures, paint/varnish/finish surfaces.
- Works with the maintenance technicians to provide routine, day-to-day maintenance of CSC properties.
- Helps with office moves, upgrades, and construction as needed.
- Serves as backup for custodian/housekeeping staff when needed.
- Completes Relias trainings and signs off on PowerDMS documents in a timely fashion.
- Willingly assists with other duties as requested.
Education, Skills, and Experience
- High School Diploma
- Zero (0) to three (3) years of experience in the field or a related field
- Valid driver’s license required
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form with mathematical skills.
- Ability to work independently and handle problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Location
This position’s home location is Hartsville, but the position requires working at all CareSouth Carolina locations. A company vehicle is provided.

Monday – Friday; 4:30 PM – 1:00 AM

Salary : $17 - $19
