What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lifesharing Coordinator position at CARES?
CARES has an immediate need for a full-time Lifesharing Coordinator in the Tamaqua office, with cases in Schuylkill and Monroe counties.

The C.A.R.E.S. Lifesharing Program enables individuals with developmental disabilities to live in a family home environment, share life experiences and pursue opportunities with supportive people. Lifesharing allows individuals to live to their fullest potential by becoming active, participating members of another family.
As a Coordinator for the Lifesharing Program, you will work carefully to match the right person with the right family or person, ensure sites meet C.A.R.E.S. quality of services, maintain client and providers files in accordance within DPW 6500 regulations, and participate in the interview and selection process, orientation, evaluation and supervision of Lifesharing Providers.
Qualified candidates will have a Bachelor’s Degree in related field including social work, psychology, special education or human services and three (3) years of experience working as a coordinator for individuals with developmental disabilities or a combination of education and related experience, good organizational skills, proficiency with MS Office and a valid driver's license.
All candidates must be able to secure PA criminal, FBI and child abuse clearances.
