JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Current RN license and good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS from the American Heart Association (be sure to include the AHA logo and QR Code).
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current NIHSS may be required prior to first shift.
- Minimum of 2 years full-time experience as an SDU RN within the last year.
- Strong ability to assess, plan, coordinate, evaluate and delegate the delivery of skilled patient care, as well as demonstrate critical thinking, and consistency in following established processes.
- Must have strong cardiac rhythm interpretation skills, as well as assessment skills relating to a variety of conditions/diagnoses.
- Strong familiarity with titration of common drips following facility protocols, and current ACLS guidelines.
- Strong experience with managing cardiac, stroke, and other complex/higher acuity patients.
