Requirements
- Active RN license in good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
- Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification.
- De-escalation or crisis prevention training certification may be required prior to your first shift.
- Minimum 1 year of full-time inpatient Behavioral Health RN experience within the past year.
- Strong patient assessment, care planning, coordination, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to provide age-appropriate care addressing patients' biological, emotional, developmental, and psychosocial needs.
- Experience supporting patients in behavioral health crises, including those with underlying medical comorbidities.
- Ability to provide patient and family education.
- Demonstrated competency in medication administration and verification.
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow established clinical procedures.
- Must reside in Pinehurst, NC, or the surrounding area.
