Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 4:00 PM – 9:00 AM, plus two weekends per month Friday - Sunday staring at 5:00 PM on Friday - 9:00 AM Monday.

Position Overview

Carepoint Home Care is seeking a dependable, organized, and compassionate Part-Time On-Call Coordinator to join our team!

This position is responsible for managing after-hours calls, coordinating caregiver schedules, and ensuring our clients continue to receive the quality care they deserve. The ideal candidate must be able to think quickly, multitask, problem-solve, and remain calm under pressure.

We are looking for someone who understands the importance of reliability, communication, and excellent customer service in the home care industry.

• Answer and respond promptly to all incoming after-hours calls from clients, families, and caregivers.

• Manage all scheduling needs during assigned on-call hours, including call-outs, cancellations, shift changes, and emergency coverage.

• Coordinate replacement caregivers when scheduled employees are unavailable.

• Communicate professionally and effectively with caregivers, clients, families, and management.

• Address urgent staffing concerns and resolve scheduling issues in a timely manner.

• Maintain accurate scheduling records and document all important communications and changes.

• Ensure continuity of care by minimizing interruptions in client coverage.

• Provide updates to the management and scheduling teams regarding any significant issues that arise during on-call hours.

• Be willing and available to personally fill in for caregiver shifts on occasion when necessary to ensure client coverage.

• Handle unexpected situations with professionalism, sound judgment, and a positive attitude.

• Previous experience in home care scheduling, staffing, or healthcare coordination preferred.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills.

• Ability to multitask and make decisions independently.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.

• Dependable, flexible, and responsive during assigned on-call hours.

• Comfortable using computers, scheduling software, and mobile applications.

• Experience providing hands-on caregiving services is a plus.

• Must have reliable transportation and be willing to assist with client coverage when needed.

Weekends: Two weekends per month, on a rotating schedule. Friday - Sunday staring at 5:00 PM on Friday - 9:00 AM Monday.

This is a part-time salaried position requiring availability and responsiveness throughout assigned on-call periods. While call volume and scheduling needs will vary, the coordinator must be prepared to address situations as they arise.

Occasional hands-on caregiver coverage may be required.

Compensation: Salary based on experience and qualifications. $40,000 - $45,000 yearly.
