Duties

- Conduct patient intake processes, ensuring accurate medication histories and patient information.
- Provide exceptional patient care by addressing inquiries and educating patients about their medications.
- Maintain compliance with all pharmacy regulations and standards, including aseptic technique for sterile compounding.
- Utilize medical terminology effectively to communicate with healthcare professionals and patients.
- Support the management of medication administration processes within the pharmacy setting.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams in long-term care (LTC) settings to optimize patient outcomes.
- Document all activities accurately in accordance with pharmacy policies.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician, preferably in hospital or critical care settings.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations.
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and IV infusion preparation.
