Responsibilities
- Be the friendly, supportive connection between patients, families, and our care teams
- Coordinate patient intake, scheduling, and ongoing communication
- Build strong relationships with referral sources and healthcare partners
- Maintain accurate records and ensure HIPAA compliance
- Help resolve patient concerns with empathy and professionalism
- Support daily office operations and administrative tasks
- Assist with insurance verification, referrals, and scheduling processes
- Home health or healthcare administrative experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Experience with insurance verification and referrals
- Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with EMR systems and Microsoft Excel
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused
- College degree
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience
- Minimum 2 years of administrative experience in a healthcare or doctor’s office setting
- Experience with insurance verification and referrals
- Proficient computer skills
- Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
