The Role
We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to design and build intuitive, performant user interfaces that power our platform. You'll work on critical systems that healthcare providers rely on daily, creating responsive web applications, implementing interactive features, and building interfaces that handle sensitive patient data.
What You'll Do
- Design, build, and maintain frontend applications and components that power our platform
- Develop responsive and accessible user interfaces across web and mobile
- Implement efficient state management and client-side data handling
- Collaborate with the team on technical decisions and architecture planning
- Contribute to our engineering culture through code reviews, documentation, and mentoring
Requirements
- 5 years of frontend development experience
- Strong knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React required)
- Experience with TypeScript and state management solutions
- Proficiency with modern CSS, responsive design, and component libraries
- Solid understanding of frontend performance optimization and testing
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work on-site at our Kansas City office
- Startup mindset: self-motivated, comfortable with ambiguity, and excited to build from the ground up
Nice to Have
- Experience in healthcare technology or with EHR interfaces
- Knowledge of design systems and UI/UX principles
- Background in systems that handle sensitive or regulated data
