Mental Health Worker

Job Overview:

We are currently looking for a dedicated Mental Health Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing support and care to individuals with mental health needs. As a Mental Health Technician, you will work closely with consumers to ensure their well-being in a group home setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in providing care and support to individuals with mental health conditions.
• Monitor and document patient progress and behaviors. Assist with meal preparation and light cleaning as needed.
• Administer medications as prescribed and adhere to medication administration protocols.
• Handle crisis situations effectively and follow established crisis management procedures.
• Collaborate with the clinical team to create a supportive environment for patients.
• Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Requirements:

• Must have HS diploma/GED, valid drivers license and insurable driving record

Work Hours:

-Weekend Night position. Saturday and Sunday 8pm-8am. Considered full time benefit eligible

Must-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations.

- Experience in or willing to train in medication administration.

- Ability to handle crisis situations effectively.

- Comfort working with individuals with mental illness.
