CAREonsite, a division of Tang & Company, is a rapidly growing provider of occupational health services with over 50 locations nationwide. We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled PA or NP to join our team.
Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
Schedule & Pay:
- Schedule: 4 x 10 hours/day, Tuesday - Friday.
- Pay Range: $170,000 - $180,000 / year
What Youll Do:
- Perform minor surgical and therapeutic procedures, including suturing, injections, immunizations, burn care, and foreign body removal (subcutaneous and ocular).
- Provide occupational health services, including DOT exams and treatment of workers' compensation injuries.
- Conduct pre-employment physicals and other job-related medical evaluations.
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
- Serve as a clinical leader, ensuring high-quality patient care.
What Were Looking For:
- 3 years of experience in occupational medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care.
- Ability to work independently while leading and supporting a healthcare team.
- Strong clinical skills with experience in a fast-track setting. Occupational Health experience is a plus.
- Excellent bedside manner and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong clinical judgement skills with a high level of autonomy and independent decision-making ability.
- Efficient, high-quality in-person assessment and documentation is required.
Qualifications & Certifications:
- Graduate of an accredited PA or NP program.
- Active PA or NP license in California.
- Current DEA license.
- BCLS (CPR/AED) or ACLS certification.
Additional Requirements (Manager to Complete):
This position also requires a 1:4 Call Schedule. Call time is scheduled as 5 pm - 7 am, Monday-Friday and 5 pm Friday - 7am Monday.
