Job Summary and Qualifications
As an X-ray Tech, you will:
Performs various clinical duties in support of providers and Nursing staff including but limited to taking vital signs, patient history, labspecimensand EKGs. May apply splints, dressings and bandages as directed. Prepares,maintainsand cleans exam rooms.- Will check patients in and out of the computer and mayassistthe Patient Representative in the performance of front desk duties.
- Will assist with front desk duties to include greeting patients, checking patients in/out of computer, End of Day close out procedures, patient interactions, lobby checks and records release.
- Maintains records and logs on activities includinginhouselab work, drugscreensand lab work sent out to other labs.
- Performs equipment and supply audits as scheduled.
- Works closely with the Center Manager, Medical Staff, Front Desk Coordinator and all clinic staff to maintain smooth operations and high customer satisfaction.
You Should Have:
High School graduate as required by the state.- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Services required.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Medical Assistants or completion of an approved program (BOTP) is preferred.
- Limited Medical Radiology Technologist(LMRT) license in state of residency
- 1 year of clinical experience in a patient care setting is beneficial
- Ability to obtain a BLS Certification isrequiredwithin30 days of start
- Must obtain a Federal Breath Alcohol Screening Certification and Federal Drug Screening Certification within 3 months of employment or promotion
