Responsibilities
Manage a defined book of payer clients, driving satisfaction, retention, and revenue growth aligned with Carenet Health’s strategic goals.
Develop and execute customized growth and retention plans in collaboration with Account Teams and senior leadership.
Lead renewal strategies and proactively mitigate churn risk through strong, consultative account management.
Use customer data, service utilization metrics, and performance trends to inform strategy and optimize account outcomes.
Establish and maintain trusted relationships with executive and C-suite stakeholders across health plan organizations.
Serve as a strategic advisor, identifying opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and maximize the value of Carenet Health’s solutions.
Work cross-functionally with Sales, Operations, Product, and Client Success teams to ensure alignment on customer needs and growth opportunities.
Provide account-level insights to support internal decision-making, innovation, and strategic planning.
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities and collaborate with Sales on execution.
Represent Carenet Health at client meetings, industry events, and conferences to enhance visibility and thought leadership.
Stay up to date on payer trends, reimbursement models, regulatory changes, and healthcare innovations to support client success.
Contribute to the development of impactful, client-facing presentations and strategic materials.
Maintain accurate and timely reporting on growth forecasts, account metrics, and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
10 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on working with payers or within health plan organizations.
Proven success in client retention, strategic account development, and revenue growth in a quota-carrying role.
Strong experience building and managing relationships with executive stakeholders.
Advanced consultative, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
Expertise in forecasting, performance measurement, and account planning.
Effective collaboration skills with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product, and Operations.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
Familiarity with healthcare technology, telehealth, care management, or workforce solutions—especially within Carenet Health’s service areas—is a plus.
Experience managing complex partnerships within payer environments and navigating healthcare ecosystems.
